This project is my first computer tech project ever. I have really enjoyed making it and am proud of what I have managed to do and learn this term. I made many key decisions while creating this website and learnt a lot about how much work really goes into making websites. Turns out that a lot of work goes into websites and a lot of thought with me constantly having to decide colours, fonts and borders that all match. As well as learning how to add background photos and how to choose ones that won't be extremely pixelated and multiply a million times. One of the biggest challenges I face was creating the staircase effect on the homepage of this website. I tried everything I could think of - a lot of which would have worked if I hadn't made the mistake of forgetting one div. This mistake taught me that in coding you have to pay attention to even the littlest details and that every single part of coding is equally as important as the other. One of my favourite parts of the project was getting to chose the design of my website and having free rein on all aspect of how it looked. I wanted it to be fun but simple so I came up with the staircase design which I liked, though it looks a lot more simple than it was to make. I also spent a lot of time choosing my colour palette, which changed throughout the whole project with colours clashing between transitions from one decision to the other. In the future I want to make this site more creative and interactive. In the future I also want to create even more projects that I will hopefully find equally challenging and equally entertaining as this one.
